Please find attached photos of our pond.  We live in Brampton, Ont and have enjoyed building and maintaining our pond for several years.  This is the second pond we have built on this sight.

We have 11 Koi, 20 gold fish and 3
frogs who call the pond their home.  It is, as most are a work in progress.

We enjoyed your web-sight very much and have placed it our favourites for future reference.  We will use your advice on several matter and share with you any success' we might have.

If you have any questions about what we have done please feel free to
contact us back.

Regards

Brad and Nancy

We sent in pictures of our old Pond from Kingston, Ontario.  Since then we have moved to British Columbia and have constructed a bigger – more beautiful pond and we want to share the progress and our pictures with you.

Attached is the construction phase from start to end!

We really enjoy making ponds.  This one has a creek and underground filter system with a 6 inch pipe draining into the filter box that acts like a skimmer.  We also pump from the bottom of the pond to the filter box, we have a “Tee” on that line that gives the pond good water movement.   All water and electric lines are buried.

We used a Rain Barrel for a water falls.   In the spring when all the flowering plants are blooming, it’s amazing.   Most of the plant have yellow flowers.  I add little things so that each time you look, you can find something different.

The first couple of months we had floating algae problems, it takes patience and lots of work to get rid of this problem, but once it’s done, its well worth it!

And, now we have a beautiful clear pond with no problems.

Enjoy!
